I sponsor the production of the documentary film on the Mobile Boat Clinic medical mission
The population of PAK BEN needs you
A team of Franco-Lao doctors will go up the Mekong by boat to overcome the lack of access to health services in 9 villages in the district. This project would make it possible to offer care to 5,000 people in need, or 16% of the total population of the district.
In order to finance this global project, with the Franco-Lao director Kiyé Simon Luang we will produce a documentary clip that will serve as a communication medium to raise funds from institutions and foundations.
Total cost of project : €6,000
By sponsoring the production of this documentary film, you will receive real-time news from the film's production team, as well as from the volunteer French doctors, Antoine PERDU and Jacques SANTIAGO who will accompany the team of Lao doctors.

Infants and young children in LAOS need you
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the infant and child mortality rate in Laos is 35.6 per 1,000 live births (2020), while it is only 3.4 per 1,000 births in France. Until the age of five, 44 out of a thousand children are at risk of dying.
It is extremely important that the medical care of children and young children be as complete as possible to limit the risk of illness and reduce this mortality rate.
Medical training in pediatrics is intended for doctors, midwives and nurses in order to improve the care of children, the study of childhood diseases.
The team of volunteer pediatrician trainers is made up of:
Dr Hélène BATELLIER, Dr Dominique BASSET, Dr Isabelle MAGEVET, Dr François and Gladys BRUNEL and Dr Geneviève BLONDEL.
They will take care of sending each godfather and godmother an evaluation of their work on site as well as privileged photos and videos of these training times.

I sponsor medical training in gynecology and obstetrics.
Young Lao women and mothers need you
In 2019, the maternal mortality rate was still too high, with 185 deaths per 1,000 births. In comparison, in France in 2015 the maternal mortality rate was 8.1 per 100,000 deliveries (WHO figures).
For reasons of tradition, women have little reflex to give birth in a health center, and many doctors and midwives lack practice. Women who are not monitored are therefore more likely to develop a high-risk pregnancy without knowing it. All these factors are the cause of this mortality rate.
To reduce maternal mortality, PEMM offers training in gynecology-obstetrics which consists of: raising awareness among doctors and patients on birth control, supporting healthcare staff to improve the detection and management of high-risk pregnancies, improving the management of normal pregnancies.
The gynecology-obstetrics team is made up of: Pauline KILMATA, Véronique HASSEN and Dr Émilie WALLAERT, Marie Annick LAUMONT, Jacques RIVOALLAN, Anne Caroline MADEC. They will take care of sending each godfather and godmother an evaluation of their work on site as well as privileged photos and videos of these training times.
