Our upcoming projects in 2024

The year 2023 was a year filled with accomplishments and projects. We warmly thank all our wonderful individual donors, patrons, and organizations who support us in our missions. In 2024, PEMM has made the decision to enhance the management of waste in hospital environments. Our goal is to consider the healthcare environment beyond the crucial issue of access to water.

Because health is a right for all, contributing to human dignity, PEMM strives to provide quality healthcare under good conditions to all populations in Northern Laos. So, do not hesitate and join us in 2024 to be a part of this international solidarity adventure in Northern Laos with us.

The Mobile Boat Clinic

In November 2023, the second edition of the Mobile Boat Clinic will take place. An international team of doctors will travel to remote villages along the Mekong to provide access to healthcare. This mission also aims to support and train the medical personnel at the Kok Kha clinic and provide them with valuable medical equipment for patient care, including a portable ultrasound machine.

This project is supported by the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives.

To learn more about this mission, we invite you to watch the teaser of the documentary film of the Mobile Boat Clinic, directed by Kiyé SIMON LUANG, which recaps the first mission in November 2022. This one-hour documentary film will be screened at various festivals and cinemas. Are you interested in organizing a screening followed by a discussion with the project coordinator in your city? You can contact us via email at peuplesetmontagnesdumekong@gmail.com or by phone at +33 (0)9 81 36 40 54.

WE NEED YOU AND YOUR SOLIDARITY
Our intervention plan is intended to meet the challenges specific to Laos, but this cannot be done without your support. We need your generosity.
