In 2011, we initiated work on the construction of dry toilets at the request of the villages of BAN PAKEO (HMONG village) and MUANG KHAM (LAO village).

This request was among the priorities of the Lao government, which strongly wishes to improve hygiene throughout the country.

So we thought about the various problems with an architectural firm (DL-workshop), met a French manufacturer of dry toilets (Kazuba) and studied the various experiences of other associations having been confronted with the same problems, particularly in poor neighborhoods in Africa and South America.

We arrived at a perfectly feasible project in Laos, with some adaptations of materials depending on the villages and the financial means at our disposal.
